Happy last day of 2018! Katie Garibaldi’s performance of her original song “Our Home Awaits Us” live with a full band and gospel choir in San Francisco is now available on YouTube!

“I wrote ‘Our Home Awaits Us’ when I was a kid and recorded it as a solo piece on my second album when I was in high school. It’s about a holy home we return to surrounded by God’s grace after this life is through. 🙏🏼✨ When planning my album Home Sweet Christmas, I thought the song would fit well on it, and I reworked it into a more gospel arrangement with a full band format. It was really fun to produce the different layers of this track (you can download or stream it if you haven’t heard it already), and it was also a nostalgic and special experience for me to revisit this song after so many years. ” (Katie Garibaldi, Instagram)
